Upon arrival at Cairo International Airport, our representative will greet you and assist you with all the formalities. Enjoy a comfortable private transfer to your hotel in an air-conditioned vehicle. The remainder of the day is yours to relax after your journey or begin exploring at your leisure. For travelers arriving on early flights, optional activities can be arranged upon request. Overnight in Cairo.

Day 2: Pyramids of Giza & Egyptian Museum

After breakfast, your Egyptologist guide will collect you for a day of ancient wonders. First, visit the iconic Pyramids of Giza – Cheops, Chephren, and Mykerinus – these monumental structures dating back 4,500 years stand as testimony to ancient Egyptian engineering brilliance. Next, encounter the enigmatic Great Sphinx with its mysterious human-headed lion body and explore the Valley Temple, where ancient priests prepared pharaohs for their journey to the afterlife.
Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant in Giza before continuing to the Egyptian Museum in Tahrir Square. Housing over 250,000 genuine artifacts spanning 5,000 years of Egyptian civilization, the museum's highlight is the Tutankhamun collection – spectacular treasures buried with the young king for 3,500 years before their discovery in 1920. Marvel at golden masks, jewelry, and everyday items that provide insight into ancient royal life.
For those interested in viewing the royal mummies, an optional visit to the National Museum of Egyptian Civilization can be arranged for an additional fee. In the evening, consider the optional Pyramids Sound and Light Show, where the Sphinx narrates the fascinating history of the pyramids against a dramatic backdrop of lights and music. Overnight in Cairo.

Day 3: Alexandria Greco-Roman Treasures

Begin your journey to Alexandria after breakfast, traveling 220km northwest of Cairo in a private air-conditioned vehicle. This Mediterranean gem founded by Alexander the Great in 331 BCE awaits with its blend of Greek, Roman, and Egyptian heritage.
First, explore the mysterious Catacombs of Kom el Shoqafa, an underground necropolis dating to the 2nd century AD that showcases a fascinating fusion of Egyptian, Greek, and Roman artistic elements. Continue to Pompey's Pillar, the tallest ancient monument in Alexandria standing 25 meters high. Despite its name, this impressive red granite column actually honors Emperor Diocletian rather than the Roman general Pompey.
Visit the impressive Citadel of Sultan Qeitbay, a 15th-century defensive fortress built using stones from the ancient Lighthouse of Alexandria, one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World. After a delicious lunch featuring authentic Egyptian cuisine, tour the ultramodern Bibliotheca Alexandrina (Alexandria Library), designed to recapture the spirit of the ancient Great Library of Alexandria with its striking contemporary architecture and vast collection. Check into your Alexandria hotel for an overnight stay.

Day 4: El Alamein & Flight to Sharm El Sheikh

After breakfast, depart for El Alamein, site of decisive WWII battles that helped determine the outcome of the war in North Africa. Begin at the El Alamein Museum, which houses an impressive collection of war memorabilia including uniforms, weapons, and photographs that bring this crucial period of history to life.
Continue to the poignant El Alamein War Cemetery, where 8,368 Commonwealth soldiers rest in individual graves, while the names of 11,945 soldiers whose bodies were never recovered are memorialized in the adjoining cloister. Visit the German War Memorial, an octagonal building overlooking the sea containing the remains of 4,280 German soldiers, and the Italian Memorial, an elegant white marble structure dedicated to 4,800 Italian servicemen.
Following lunch in Alexandria, return to Cairo to catch your flight to Sharm El Sheikh. Upon arrival at this renowned Red Sea resort destination, transfer to your comfortable accommodation for check-in and relaxation. Overnight in Sharm El Sheikh.

Day 5: Sharm El Sheikh & Mount Sinai

Enjoy a leisurely morning at your resort, taking advantage of the beautiful beaches and clear waters of the Red Sea. Relax poolside, snorkel among colorful coral reefs, or simply soak up the sun.
After dinner, embark on a spiritual journey at approximately 21:00, driving to Mount Sinai. Around 01:00, begin your ascent of this sacred mountain where, according to biblical tradition, Moses received the Ten Commandments. The challenging climb by moonlight takes approximately 3 hours via a path of 3,750 steps. Reach the summit (2,285 meters) before dawn and witness a spectacular sunrise over the rugged Sinai landscape – a truly transcendent experience that pilgrims have sought for centuries. Overnight camping on Mount Sinai.

Day 6: St. Catherine's Monastery & Return to Sharm

Descend Mount Sinai in the early morning light and proceed. Catherine's Monastery. Founded in the 6th century CE, it's one of the oldest continuously functioning Christian monasteries in the world. Explore this fortified sanctuary nestled at the foot of Mount Sinai, housing an extraordinary collection of religious icons and ancient manuscripts second only to the Vatican.

Visit the Chapel of the Burning Bush, built around what is believed to be the biblical burning bush from which God spoke to Moses. Marvel at the monastery's impressive collection of religious art, including the priceless Mosaic of Transfiguration. Learn about Saint Catherine of Alexandria, the monastery's namesake, who was martyred for her faith.

By early afternoon, depart for Sharm El Sheikh, arriving with plenty of time to enjoy the resort facilities. Spend the remainder of the day relaxing by the pool, enjoying water sports, or exploring the vibrant Naama Bay area with its restaurants and shops. Overnight in Sharm El Sheikh.

Day 7: Return to Cairo & Old Cairo Tour

After breakfast, transfer to Sharm El Sheikh Airport for your flight back to Cairo. Upon arrival, meet your guide and begin exploring the medieval and ancient quarters of Cairo.

First, visit the imposing Saladin Citadel, a medieval Islamic fortification constructed in 1183 CE on the Moqattam Hills to defend against Crusader attacks. Within the citadel complex, marvel at the Muhammad Ali Mosque (also known as the Alabaster Mosque) with its distinctive Ottoman architecture featuring slim minarets and cascading domes. The mosque's interior alabaster decoration and grand chandelier create a serene atmosphere, while its elevated position offers panoramic views across Cairo.

After lunch at a local restaurant, explore Coptic Cairo, the oldest part of the city predating the Arab conquest. Visit the Hanging Church (Al-Mu'allaqah), built atop a Roman fortress gatehouse with its nave suspended above the passage. Continue to the Ben Ezra Synagogue, traditionally believed to mark where baby Moses was found. Discover the Church of St. Barbara and the Church of Abu Serga (St. Sergius), which is built over a crypt where the Holy Family reportedly sheltered during their flight to Egypt.

Conclude your day at the Khan el-Khalili Bazaar, a labyrinthine market dating to the 14th century. Navigate narrow alleys filled with shops selling everything from spices and perfumes to textiles, jewelry, and traditional handicrafts. Practice your bargaining skills as you shop for souvenirs, or simply absorb the vibrant atmosphere of this historic commercial hub. Transfer to your Cairo hotel for your final night.

Day 8: Departure

Depending on your flight schedule, enjoy breakfast at your hotel before checking out. Our representative will assist with your transfer to Cairo International Airport for your international departure, bringing your Egyptian adventure to a close. For those wishing to extend their stay in Egypt, additional arrangements can be made upon request.
